3. Huawei a prins deja contracte cu Orange si Vodafone
4. ZTE are nevoie uriasa de piata
Concluzie:
ZTE are o mare ocazie sa prinda un contract cu DT cel putin pe termen mediu, asa ca vor arata ca pot mai mult decat pot.
Zapp a anuntat azi upgrade-ul retelei UMTS la 3G+, disponibil cu inceputul lunii septembrie in Bucuresti. Viteza de download va fi de 21.6 Mbps, echivalentul in “user experience” a unei viteze de aprox 2 MB/s, iar cea de upload de 5.8 Mbps, echivalentul a aprox 500 KB/s.
Viteza HSPA+ a unui modem 3G (mobil) poate depasi viteza media a unei linii ADSL si se apropie de media de viteza a unei conexiuni “low end” pe fibra optica.

This is one shy try, of course, but it’s an obvious sign that Apple is thinking the right thoughts towards its customers and developers. I bet some “major world leader mobile hardware manufacturer” can watch and learn from these “little companies” being now “on the big wave”.
If not, our “world leader mobile manufacturer” will quickly become a “huge company” riding “the smallest wave”…

Well, it can be used as a core of a hand made steering wheel. What you’ll going to see below: – one mecano set assembled brightly into a steering wheel, – one N82, accelerator enabled phone – NiiMe app – one sock used as a buffer for the phone.

“Manowar was here” is what I should engrave on my N97. Extraordinary live performace last night in Bucharest (5th of July), although there were some hiccups: 2 high voltage generators were burnt in the first 20 mins (yeah, I know, it’s Manowar!)
While the stuff members were trying to fix those generators, DeMaio had a small… well, stand-up in … Romanian.
The main message was: “we know where we are (Bucharest, not Budapest, as Metallica screwed it up in ’99) and we know where are we heading for.

I hoped first N97 FW update to solve some issues. Instead, it brought some more and critical ones. Like system crashes…
Since last night when I’ve updated the FW, I’ve had 3 crashes: 2 when browsing (some buffer overflow, I guess) and 1 in Ovi Contacts.
I’m sick and tired of amateurish approach, not to mention haste and superfluence.
I’ll post a bit later some bugs, issues and disapointments regarding N97 software and logic.
